What are Pfizer Medical Education Grants

Pfizer Medical Education grants are grants awarded by Pfizer in order to support the learning of new strategies that enable improvement not only in the performance of medical personnel, but in their competence and training so as to improve the lives of those whom they treat.  In order to contribute to the continued education of medical personnel, Pfizer offers a number of grants.

Each applicant must be able to demonstrate where they stand in regards to these competencies in order to be considered for a Pfizer Medical Education grant.  If they qualify, Pfizer looks to award amounts (which vary from individual to individual) that will cover specific continuing education costs and/or research and development into specific continuing education fields.  This is in order to narrow the professional practice gaps in areas of mutual interest to both the medical professional and to Pfizer so that progress can be made that will be beneficial to both the one giving and the one receiving the funds.

While the application process for a Pfizer Medical Education Grant can be extensive and exhausting and require a good deal of supporting documentation to prove one’s qualifications (including educational documentation as well as letters of recommendation etc.) being able to qualify for these monies can go a long ways towards enabling those medical professionals looking to further their education to be able to be able to afford it.
